Homeflex 18-445-012 Underground 1-1/4" IPS Poly to 1-1/4" MIP Gas Transition - Yellow

Designed for underground fuel gas distribution systems, this transition fitting connects yellow polyethylene pipe to metallic gas lines. It features a smooth poly spigot on one end and a durable threaded steel nipple on the other to facilitate a seamless transition. Ideal for natural gas or liquid propane installations requiring a secure connection between underground poly and steel systems.

One end is plain polyethylene for joining to poly gas pipe using an underground coupling.
Opposite end features epoxy coated steel male pipe threads for joining to metal pipe.
Constructed from durable medium density polyethylene and steel.
Rated for a maximum operating pressure of 90 psi.
Handles operating temperatures up to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
Suitable for direct burial outdoor underground gas applications only.
Approved for use with natural gas and liquid propane systems.
Meets ASTM F1973 and ASTM D2513 performance standards.
